Hi, I'm Ally.

I’m so glad you found your way here!

Pretty Peonies started during the pandemic, when I began designing handmade cards just to have a creative outlet. As a kid, I'd get so much excitement from wrapping paper, ribbons, stickers, cards, letters, the list goes on, and to this day that hasn't changed. I was always collecting cards and invitations too, tucking them into memory boxes I still have. Somewhere along the way, that love of paper turned into a real passion for wedding stationery, and I started creating pieces for brides who wanted their invitations to feel as intentional as the day itself.

My colour palettes and designs often lean into the natural beauty around us: in friends’ gardens, summer backyard parties, and hikes on the trails with my dog. Creative inspiration really is all around, and I draw from it in my designs.

Then in July 2025, I got married myself at a magical destination wedding in Mexico, with our closest friends and family, and designed the stationery myself. Going through that process as a bride, not just a designer, taught me exactly what it feels like to want invitations you're excited to share with your guests without wanting to spend a fortune or lose hours learning design software you've never touched before.

So that's what you'll find here: templates that are easy to customize in Canva, guidance if you ever get stuck, and designs made to feel cohesive from your save the date through your reception signage. My hope is that when you open your finished invitations, they feel like they were made just for you and your story. Because in a way, they were.
